Hand crafted in fine bone china, a material renowned for it's pure whiteness, fineness, translucency and strength. The decorative surface design is inspired by organic forms, which have been magnified to create the lacy, linear patterns. As this is piece is handmade, each one is slightly different, with the pattern placed differently on each piece. Some holes occur naturally during the making process, and are a deliberate part of the design. This shade is compatible with a standard UK pendant lamp fitting, and designed to be used with low energy bulbs.

In order to send ceramics safely, the item is bubble wrapped and placed within a box, which is then placed within a second box with a second layer of packaging material around it.
